Předmět je koncipován jako teoretický. Seznamuje studenty se základními znalostmi nezbytnými pro podnikání ve zdravotnictví.

Cílem předmětu je seznámit se systémem výkonů a platnou legislativou pro základní podnikání. Informovat o podnikatelské činnosti ve zdravotnictví aekonomických aspektech tohoto podnikání.
